Diabetic neuropathy is a type of nerve damage that can occur if you have diabetes.  High blood sugar can injure nerve fibers throughout your body, but it most often affects nerves in the legs and feet. Frances Fittanto, DPM, Podiatric Medicine, Monmouth Medical Center will discuss the symptoms, causes and risk factors and treatment options to slow progression of the disease and manage complications.
