New Jersey's 2013 campaigns for state Legislature are funded by $27.7 million in contributions, NJ Spotlight reports.

Candidates in New Jersey's legislative races have raised $27.7 million to fund their 2013 campaigns, according to NJ Spotlight analysis of New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission data.

In the 11th District, the Republican incumbents and their Democratic challengers have raised significant funds:

The district includes Allenhurst, Asbury Park, Colts Neck, Deal, Eatontown, Freehold Borough, Freehold Township, Interlaken, Loch Arbour, Long Branch, Neptune, Neptune Township, Ocean Township, Red Bank, Shrewsbury Borough, Shrewsbury Township, Tinton Falls, and West Long Branch.
