1. No need to water the lawn today. Today the National Weather Service promises a 40 percent chance of rain and tomorrow looks like it will be more of the same. Thank goodness we didn't go to Florida.
2. May I take your order? If it was good enough for Shania Twain and Rachel McAdams, it's probably a good start for junior. Today is National McDonald's Hiring Day. Chauffeur those teens over to MickeyD's and see if they can get a jump on summer.
3. Mommy's little helper. Preschool's out this week and you have 400,000 things to do before the weekend! Fear not. For $25 a head, the Middletown Arts Center is here to help.

4. Kick it! Get the little pop stars over to Rumson this morning for Hip Hop Superstar Mini Camp or reserve for tomorrow's Broadway Baby Mini Camp at Kick Fitness and Dance. Kids from 3 to 7 years old can come for dance, games, a craft and a snack for a $40 fee. And you get two hours and 45 minutes to grocery shop, pick up the dry cleaning, pay the bills, pick up the prescription, do the laundry...oh and check Patch for new posts.
5. High school today, PGA tomorrow. Monmouth Regional varsity golf is scheduled for 10 a.m. at Holmdel.
