Mild Weather Streak Continues

After the quick cold snap that reminded us just how bone chilling winter can be, temperatures will quickly rise back into the 50s by midweek. Rain could be coming in by late Wednesday, into Thursday, and will bring with it some cooler weather into the weekend.

Delays on the Route 35/36 Road Project

Just when we were thinking that the traffic war zone that has taken over the Route 35 and Route 36 intersection would be moving soon to peace time, we learned that the project's completion has been pushed back six months. A spokesman from the DOT tells Patch that delays in moving utility lines in the area have pushed the job's end date to the beginning of next year.

Single Session Days for Tinton Falls Students

students at the will enjoy half days for most of the week leading up to the Martin Luther King long weekend. Beginning Tuesday, students will have single session days, allowing for parent teacher conferences later in the day, straight through Friday. New Electronics Recycling in Eatontown

The new year brings new restrictions to recycling electronics in . Residents can no longer dispose of old TVs, DVD players and other small electronic equipment curbside but must bring items to the recycling center on Lewis Street and drop them in a clearly marked container. Eatontown Looking for Tenants Rights Members

The reorganization of the borough at the start of the new year brought openings on the Tenants Rights Committee. Eatontown has provided a link for interested residents to upload a Citizens' Leadership form to be handed into the municipal clerk.
