Where Are the Girl Scout Cookies?

Local troop leaders: tell us where you'll be selling cookies this season.

We picked a bad time to go low carb. Not only is Cadbury Egg season upon us, but now it's Girl Scout cookie time and those girls in the little sashes are everywhere. EVERYWHERE. They're selling cookies at , at the , at , for goodness sake. What are these kids trying to do to us?

And it's not like they are sticking with the usual big guns of Thin Mints and Samoas, nooo. They've added a new confectionery to their sweet arsenal, the Savannah Smile, "a cool, crisp lemon wedge" in commemoration of 100 years of Girl Scouts.

So if you see us fighting off retirees at Friday afternoon while wearing our pants with elastic waist, just know that those girls drove us too it. Them and their 91,000 cases of cookies hitting the "market" this week at 1,200 pop up booths all over Monmouth and Ocean counties.
