What is wrong with people these days? Thank God they caught him. We sure don't need some crazy person on our streets. Bless you first responders.

don't say crazy, that is too easy and high handed. collect all the information, address the problem, contribute towards a solution or be quiet. and god had nothing to do with it, it was lbpd. unlike god, lbpd actually exist and do good things for us.

"We sure don't need some crazy person on our streets." Until the day comes when the mentally ill have access to healthcare, that's EXACTLY what we will continue to have!

Health care? what does that have to do with it. The average normal working person is so stressed out today that you can snap instantly. Until he is checked out no one has a right to pass judgment. And While LB did a great job .. OVER KILL was not the word . KNEE JERK REACTIONS after the BOSTON issue is now going to cause this kind of reaction for along time ..

I don't know what you call a grown person who assaults their father and has a standoff with police forcing the city to spend money for a swat team, forcing businesses to close and; therefore, losing money and putting the city in panic...I'm with Momof4 and call that crazy too and, apparently, so did the LBPD since they took him to the hospital pysch ward instead of straight to county jail. Also, your telling Momof4 she should be quiet unless coming up with a solution, but I don't see any ideas for a solution in your comment. All I read was you being aggressive towards Momof4 for having an opinion and posting a comment of that opinion. And if she wants to thank God that is none of your business and not for you to tell her she can't. She can thank who ever she wants to thank. You don't have to believe that God exists, that is your choice, but who the hell are you to tell someone else that they have to think the way you do?

Good job Long Branch Police department, i could have been worse, but you all acted acordingly. I thank God, and continue tu pray for them and the person who is responsible for this, thank you for taking him to get some help instead of throwing him in jail, something is wrong and yes he need help. People are crying out and don't know how o gt so they act out. May God's grace and peace be upon him and as well to his father and entire family, and our police who put their lives on the line for us all. God be with you.
