Harley Davidson/Buell of Long Branch Hosting Veterans Day Ride

Riders will travel from Long Branch to PNC Bank Arts Center

 

Harley Davidson/ Buell of Long Branch will host the fifth annual Veterans’ Day Memorial Ride and fundraiser on Sunday Nov. 11.

This year’s event will benefit the Veterans’ Children Scholarship Fund, established by Harley Davidson of Long Branch and Rolling Thunder Chapter II NJ.

Participants can ride their motorcycle, or drive their car or truck and come out to pay tribute.

This daylong event helps deserving young people from Ocean and Monmouth counties with their education, in addition to honoring America’s military personnel and veterans.

Once again this year commemorative pins will be available to the first 250 people to sign up for the ride. Limited edition Veteran’s Day T-shirts will also be available.

The day will begin with a local and state police-escorted ride departing from Siperstein’s Plaza, 700 Joline Ave. (Route 36) in Long Branch to the New Jersey Vietnam Veterans Memorial on the grounds of the PNC Bank Arts Center, exit 116 Garden State Parkway, led by Rolling Thunder, New Jersey Chapter 2’s Color Guard.

Registration will take place 8:30 - 9:45 a.m., and the ride departs at 10 a.m.

A $10 donation is requested (larger donations celebrated).
