Get on the Bus at Eatontown Day for the Low Down on History in Town

The Eatontown Historical Committee will offer two bus tours of the borough's historical hot spots at Community Day on Saturday.

You may know that Eatontown grew from the mill site built by Thomas Eaton in 1670, but do you know where it was? The has organized bus tours at on Saturday to highlight the borough's historic hot spots.

The tours, which will depart at 4 p.m. and 5p.m. on Sept. 24, will include a stop at several houses in town that date from the 1700's (or maybe even a little earlier) and answer how Eatontown came to have its own dock.

Sign ups will be at the Historical Committee table near the Willow Avenue entrance to .
