Eatontown Summer Camp Options

Check
out three Summer camp options that Eatontown Recreation and Community Services
offers. Programs range from 3 year olds to tweens entering 9th
grade.

1) Preschool Summer Camp will be held at the
Community Center building at 72 Broad Street. It will be open to children ages
3 & 4 (children must be 3 years old by April 1, 2013). Children must be
potty trained. The program will offer various activities and themes, including
sports, games, arts & crafts, water play, and much more! Parents should provide campers with a snack and beverage daily. The program will run for six weeks, beginning July 8th and ending August 16, 2013. There is a $50 non-refundable registration fee to hold your child’s place. The program will take place on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings only and will go from 9:00am-12:00pm. The cost of the program is $245.00 for six weeks. Payment is due in full by May 6, 2013. Registration is on a first come, first serve
basis. Space is limited. You may register at 68 Broad St. For more information,

2) Eatontown Recreation is offering a Summer
Day Camp Program to Eatontown boys and girls entering Pre-K- 8th as
of September 2013.  (Pre-K must turn 4 by 10-1-13). This SIX week program will be held Monday through Friday offering various activities such as sports, special events, quiet games, arts & crafts, weekly trips, and much more! Registration goes
by what grade your child will be entering in September 2013. The Day Camp
program will take place at WOLCOTT PARK from 9:00am to 12:00pm. Wolcott Park is located on South St. & Route 35.

Parents are responsible for providing/arranging their own
transportation. Parents should provide campers with a snack and beverage daily.

The program moves to Memorial
School on rainy days. For more information the day of inclement weather, call the Rec office after 8:15AM. A voice message will be left on the answering machine.

The program will begin on Monday, July 8, 2013 and end on Friday,
August 16, 2013. The fee for the program is $175.00 for the 1st
child and $125.00 for each additional child. Trips are extracurricular and
purely optional, additional fee per trip applies. Registration begins March 4th
through June 21st  2013 at
4:00pm. Space is limited. Registration is on a first come, first serve basis.

Note: Any persons who register after June 21st will be
subject to late fee of $20.00 per family. Checks must be made payable to the
“Borough of Eatontown.” Refunds will only be given when requested prior to the
first day of camp. Free services are available to those without the ability to

3) Eatontown Recreation offers a Summer Counselor Intern Program to
Eatontown Boys and Girls entering
grades 8 & 9 as of June 2013. A position as a CIP involves the following:

     
You will be paired with a regular counselor in
our Summer Day Camp Program. The children you will be working with are in
grades Pre K -6th

    
This is strictly a volunteer position. You
will not be paid any money & enrollment is limited. All applicants will be
interviewed in June and best qualified candidates only will be chosen.
Applicants not chosen can register in the Summer Camp Program (fee $175).

   
A position as a CIP with Eatontown’s Summer
Day Camp Program does NOT guarantee you a place as a regular counselor in the
future.

    
You must be reliable and available
7/8/13-8/16/13 8:30am- 12:30pm daily.

Location: Wolcott
Park (Willow
St. & South St., located behind McDonald’s). Parents are responsible for
providing/arranging their own transportation to and from camp. Parents -
provide CIP’s with a snack and beverage daily. The program runs Mon- Fri for
six weeks. In case of inclement weather, call the Rec office after 8:15am. A
voice message will be left on the answering machine regarding where camp will
take place

The fee for this program is $30 per chosen CIP. Payment due when accepted in the program.  Make checks payable to “Borough of
Eatontown”. Free services are available to those without the ability to pay.
Registration dates: 3/4/13 - No registrations forms will be accepted after June
