Local Pet Care Expert Joanne Bruno Opens Canine Classical Spa in Middletown, N.J.

Leonardo section of Middletown, N.J. - A familiar face in the pet grooming industry, local pet care specialist Joanne Bruno, a Highlands resident, has opened Canine Classical Spa LLC in the Leonardo section of Middletown. The spa is located at 37 Center Avenue, nestled amongst a group of small storefronts on this main artery of Leonardo, a few blocks from the beach.
A longtime veteran of the pet care industry, Bruno is an expert groomer with over twenty years of experience. Many people in the area know her from previous employment and associations with other grooming operations, which has helped to build her solid reputation. Bruno graduated from Nash Academy, an accredited grooming school, and earned a Diploma of Excellence in addition to designations as a certified master trainer and certified grooming instructor. "Education is very important, as anyone can say he or she is a pet groomer and hang out a shingle. I have put the time in, have the experience and provide one-on-one attention to the dogs," Bruno stated.
Joining Bruno in her new business is pet stylist Margaret Colvin, someone that Bruno respects and noted is very involved in the community. "Margaret has been involved in the schools and in other activities and is a committed volunteer in the community. Lots of people know her," Bruno added.
A former resident of both the Belford and Navesink sections of Middletown, Bruno is proud of the spirit of caring and concern that herself and Colvin show for their canine clients. "The priority is the well-being of the dogs and to offer a peaceful setting for them. I have created an attractive, calming and caring environment which embraces individualized pet care, something I am very passionate about," Bruno said.
Canine Classical Spa offers all-inclusive, full-service dog grooming with top-of-the-line products. One price includes a basic shampoo, a case and condition-specific shampoo, a customized facial, conditioning and hydration, blow-drying, a hair cut and tooth-brushing, if needed. Bruno even provides bottled water and non-genetically modified dog treats to her four-legged friends. All shampoos, conditioners and other products are natural and plant-based, containing no sulphur, and feature ingredients such as aloe, coconut and tea tree oil.
Spa hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m to 3 p.m. Additional times are available by appointment. The spa telephone number is (732) 720-7174. Information is also available by viewing the website www.canineclassicalspa.net or by emailing Joanne at canineclassicalspa@gmail.com.
