Stop and Shop Donating Thanksgiving Dinners to Long Branch Residents Affected by Hurricane

Local firefighters will distribute turkeys to families

 

Stop & Shop will be making the Thanksgiving holiday a bit brighter for Long Branch families affected by Hurricane Sandy.

Stop & Shop is donating 75 turkey dinners to the Long Branch Fire Station located at the corner of 3rd and Union Avenues between 1:30  and 2 p.m. today.

The dinners, including traditional trimmings, will be distributed by the firefighters to families in the community who were affected by Hurricane Sandy.

Volunteers from Stop & Shop will be on hand to help unload the Turkey Dinners that will feed some 700 people in the area.
