The construction of the latest phase of Pier Village should begin later this fall or in the spring.
Long Branch Business Administrator said the city is still working with the developer and the statw to get the final approvals for the project.
Pier Village Phase 3 will be located to the south of the current shopping center and will include more retail and living space, a hotel and a boardwalk area.
