Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno Visits Long Branch Business

E.L. Baxter Company is latest stop on her statewide tour of 100 businesses

Since the beginning of this month New Jersey Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno, a resident of neighboring Monmouth Beach, has been visiting businesses across the state with the goal of visiting 100.

On Friday morning, her latest stop was the E.L. Baxter Company at 70 South 7th Ave., Long Branch, a shipping company which makes packaging materials for various industries.

Lt. Gov. Guadagno said it is important for her administration to visit all different types of businesses throughout the state, both big and small.

"In the second year of our administration, we want to make sure we are out talking to people who really know how to change the way we do business," Lt. Gov. Guadagno said. "They're a smaller company and we want to show them we really are turning the corner on the recession."

E.L. Baxter Company President Ron Eberhardt gave Lt. Gov. Guadagno, as well as Long Branch Mayor Adam Schneider, Long Branch Council President Dr. Mary Jane Celli and Councilwoman Joy Bastelli, a tour of his business and described the day-to-day operations.
