Long Branch Krauser's Sells $71K Lotto Ticket
The winning numbers were 01, 11, 21, 30, and 31.
Krauser's on Ocean Boulevard in Long Branch sold a Jersey Cash 5 ticket worth $71,441.
Executive Director Carole Hedinger said the winning ticket was the only one sold for Tuesday’s drawing that matched all five numbers drawn. The winning numbers were 01, 11, 21, 30, and 31.
"For selling this ticket, the retailer will receive a bonus check for $2,000. Overnight, it has become one more 'lucky location' for the very fortunate lottery winner," Hedinger said in a press release.
Hedinger noted that 2,702 other players won $62,145 in cash prizes in the Tuesday drawing. For correctly picking four numbers, 125 players won cash prizes of $291 each, and for correctly matching three numbers, 2,577 players won $10 each.
