The Wendy's at 25 Route 35 in Eatontown has closed.
A Wendy's sign has been removed and in its place is a sign that states "store closed visit us at Tinton Falls."
The next closest Wendy's is located at 600 Shrewsbury Avenue, which is about 5 miles from the closed Eatontown location. For now, that's where borough residents will have to go get their burger and Frosty fix.
The store closed earlier this month, but the reason for the closure is unknown.
We've reached out to Wendy's to get an answer, but have not yet received a call back. This story will be updated as soon as we get one.
