Eatontown Residents Gathered Sunday For The Annual Tree Lighting And Santa's Arrival
Eatontown residents gathered Sunday afternoon on the front lawn of Borough Hall for the annual tree lighting and the arrival of Santa. Eatontown Mayor Gerarld Tarantolo welcomed everyone and asked those present to remember the men and women of the United States Military during the holiday season. The Memorial School Choir and the Eatontown Choraliers each performed several selections of holiday music. Everyone then joined in for a community sing-a-long and sang Hark The Herald Angels Sing, Silent Night, Joy to The World and Winter Wonderland. After the tree was lit, a fire truck arrived in front of the building and out stepped Santa, to the delight of the children present. Santa led the crowd to the Community Center where refreshments awaited along with more holiday songs performed by the Eatontown Municipal Band.
