It's the first Sunday of January and the first Sunday of the new year, 2014. How better to celebrate then by attending and joining in with
The Monthly NJ Friends of Clearwater Circle of Song and their Featured Leader-Performer: ROSEMARY WRIGHT.
Rosemary Wright belongs to the NJ Storytelling Network, the Garden State Storytellers League, and several environmental organizations. She writes poetry and creative nonfiction. She has told stories at schools, festivals,
and community centers. Since she's participated in our Circle a year ago, she has taken up the dulcimer, so that she can perform sing-along songs also. She will be joined members of The Storytellers Mosaic, a group started by her.
NJ Friends of Clearwater Circle of Song has this monthly get-together at
the Turnstile Coffee Bar located at 1607 Highway 71, Belmar, seven blocks from the Belmar Train Station (handicap-accessible) They have reserved every first Sunday from 12:30pm -2:30pm. There is a suggested
donation of $3 to $7.
Turnstiles is a coffee bar in Belmar, New Jersey, where everyone is welcome and made to feel welcome. It’s like Cheers in Boston; it’s a place where “everybody knows your name.” And the coffee is an added luxury,
especially sipping a latte on a cold winter’s afternoon while enjoying the original works of these talented artists.
If you bring your instrument - even if you don't - we can promise you that you'll have a chance to sing and/or play. We encourage songs about the Environment and Sing-Along Songs, but you can do others. But it's also
okay to just come and listen.

Directions to Turnstile Coffee Bar
From the Parkway: Ex.98 = Rte. 195/138 East - to the end - turn north
onto Rte. 35 - go right at the 1st light = Belmar Blvd. - right again at the
1st light = Rte. 71 - look on right.
From Route 35 South: Cross the bridge
into Belmar - take the 4th left (at the Windmill/ Dairy Queen Restaurants),
go 2-1/2 blocks, look on right after crossing 16th Ave. = Belmar Blvd.
From Main Street = the Belmar Train Station (Shore Line train from Penn Station in NYC or from Newark, NJ): Walk or drive south on Main - turn right onto 16th Ave. = Belmar Blvd. - then left onto Rte. 71 - look on the right (about 7 blocks from the Train Station).
