The Paper Moon Puppet Theatre Presents BEAUTY & THE BEAST
The doors open at 1:00 p.m. Since we do not have a lobby, in inclement weather, we suggest that you remain in your vehicle until about five
minutes before we open.
At 1:00 p.m. as the doors open the pre-show activities begin.
The audience is greeted by the puppeteers who seat the children in
front of the puppet stage while adults are seated in chairs around the perimeter of the theatre. The children are introduced to marionettes
as the puppeteers stroll through the audience with some of the puppets. After about fifteen minutes of audience participation the stage curtain opens and the show begins. At the conclusion of the performance
the curtain re-opens and the puppeteers answer questions about
the show and demonstrate the technique of marionette manipulation with some of the characters from the show.

The Paper Moon Puppet Theatre has been producing shows for over 20 years. Started in New Jersey in 1989 it was housed at the First Avenue Playhouse for 15 years. Paper Moon has recently acquired a new theatre space at 171 First Avenue in Atlantic Highlands, around the corner on West Garfield Street
