Today is a great day to head to Belmar and take part of the
COMMUNITY MURAL PAINTING DAY from 10:00 AM-4:00 PM
at the Belmar Arts Council/Boatworks at 608 River Road, Belmar
Artists and novices, age 7 and up, are invited to drop by
and help paint the mural designed by Philadelphia muralist
Delia King for the Belmar Train Station. The mural will be
done on fabric and later installed on the wall of the
NJ Transit Station in Belmar.
Bring a shirt or smock to protect your clothes!
After that a walk around, visit the library, learn about Belmar's history, dine at a restaurant, talk to the locals or if you are a local, talk to others about Belmar Then around 8PM, head back to the Belmar Arts for a CONCERT. Tickets sold at the door, $10
