New Year Challenge-- XII-Neptune City, Neptune Township and Bradley Beach

This is an ongoing look at towns around Monmouth County to visit.
As we approach the new year and start making our resolutions.
Let's take a look at visiting Monmouth County as being one of our resolutions or challenges. Here is my challenge to you. See if you can visit
all 53 municipalities of Monmouth County in the year 2014. It's up to you how you want to do this.  You will find a complete list at
BizEturtle: Monmouth County Municipalities
You must be in the town and not one of the sections. For added excitement see if you can visit all the sections. This adds on around 58 more places to visit. For more information about Monmouth County History, check out my page of Museums & Historical Societies.

Neptune City will be our first stop. Situated inland it is a small town with a quite large population of over five thousand. A visit to the
Neptune City Library may lead you to places of interest to visit. It is a member of the Monmouth County Library System.

Our next visit is to Neptune Twp, quite a large area with a population of almost twenty eight thousand. The Historic Preservation Commission will
be delighted to let you know of Neptune's history, please contact them at
732-988-5200, x 247,  The Neptune Library, which is not a member of the Monmouth County Library System would be a great place to check out for places to visit before you go. Ocean Grove and Shark River Hills  are communities located within Neptune Township.
Other communities within Neptune Township are Mid-Town, Bradley Park, the Gables, Summerfield, Green Grove, Seaview Island and West Neptune.

Last stop is Bradley Beach, a seahore town with a population of less than five thousand. Check with the Bradley Beach Historical Society at their mail: info@bbhistory.org for places to visit. You might also try the
Bradley Beach Library, it is not a member of the Monmouth County Library System.
