Monday, January 20--Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

Today is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. It is an American federal holiday
marking the birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr. It is observed on the third Monday of January each year, which is around the time of King's birthday, January 15.

It is a day to honor Dr. King’s legacy. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. once said, "Life's most persistent and urgent question is: 'What are you doing for others?'"
MLK Day is a chance to start the year off right by making an impact in your community.
Join the hundreds of thousands of people who serve on MLK Day and throughout the year. Find a project in your community or attend and support one of these events
