Belmar Arts Council Presents a Weekend of Music-Poetry-Books

The Belmar Arts Council is primarily a volunteer organization that is housed in a building located at the corner of 7th Avenue and River Road near the railroad tracks in the Borough of Belmar. 

It is dedicated to improving the quality of life for our residents, visitors and neighbors by helping the arts to flourish and offering diverse and exciting experiences in both the visual and performing arts for people of all ages
in a quaint coffee-house atmosphere.

Beginning on Friday, May 30th, the BAC will be showcasing these experiences with a CONCERT at 8PM featuring CHRIS TURNER & THE STEEL RAIL BLUES, Doors open at 7:30pm. Tickets are $10, sold at the door

On Saturday, May 31, the BAC invites you to Join Belmar
Arts member and author, Judith Jones-Ambrosini for a
BOOK LAUNCH PARTY for her brand new title; 
“The Sisterhood of Diabetes: Facing Challenges and Living Dreams”!Refreshments and signed copies of the books will be
available for sale! It all begins at 4:00 PM

On Sunday, June 1st, the BAC has two great invitations for you to attend
At 1:00 PM, Come to a COMEDY IMPROV WORKSHOP with CAT LONDON
Teens 1pm-2:30pm,  Adults 18+ 3pm-4pm
Improv instructor, Cat London, will take you through a
series of warm-ups and games that exercise your
inner comedian! Perfect for actors and non-actors alike!
EXCELLENT idea for small business employees/bosses looking for
some team-building! Great for bands looking to bond!
This class is aimed to boost stage presence and interpersonal confidence across all fields of work and play.
Tickets are $20, sold at the door, Groups of 3 or more $15 each

Belmar Arts Council would like for you to enjoy our
Exhibition: Eleven Shades of Gray: A Black and White Photography
now on display and to suggest a visit to a nearby restaurant 
for a bite to eat and to refuel for a visit back for another
CONCERT on Sunday, June 1st, to end this artistic filled weekend.
 At 6PM. BLUE HIGHWAYS will be on stage.
 Doors open at 5:30pm. Tickets: are $10, sold at the door
