The construction of some projects is ongoing.

Most Monmouth Regional Regional students will be returning to school for at least a partial day on Friday. Sept. 6.

It will be a full day for freshman and a one session day for all others.

For those who return, students will see some changes to the building and parents will see a new policy.

Four of the building's science rooms have been renovated, new windows have been installed and rooms have been renumbered, according to a message from Assistant Principal Andrew Teeple.

"This is part of our security plan and continued effort to work cooperatively with the Tinton Falls Police Department to keep our students safe," Teeple said.

The school also now has an Assistant Principals' Suite rather than two separate offices.

Teeple said the construction on the girls' locker room and physical education storage facility is ongoing and is expected to be completed in mid-November.

There will also be a new change for parents when they want to pick up their child up from school early.

"This entire process will be completed from the General Office," Teeple said. "No longer will a walk down to the Assistant Principal's Office be required."

"All these changes are to enhance our students' education while maintaining the safest learning environment," he added.
