Guest speaker, David Goldman is a father, author and activist, devoting his time to public speaking and advocacy work on behalf of victims of international child
abduction. David fought an inspiring five-year battle to be reunited with his son, Sean, who was abducted to Brazil in June 2004 and returned to the United States on Christmas Eve 2009 − a true Christmas miracle. The case received
international media attention and introduced many around the world to the growing, tragic issue of international parental child abduction. David authored the recently released A Father's Love: One Man's Unrelenting Battle to Bring His Abducted Son Home, which provides a first-hand account of his fight to reunite with his son and his ongoing advocacy work. David is also co-founder of the Bring Sean Home Foundation (www.BringSeanHome.org). Join us for
lunch at Taste Restaurant at the Galleria to hear him speak about his amazing journey to bring his son home.  Tickets
are $50.00 each. Lunch includes a glass of wine or beer. Space is limited, so reserve tickets early at www.JLMC.org.

Book Signing with Actress Kim
Zimmer Saturday, December 3rd at 2:30pm

Come meet four times Emmy Award winning actress and author Kim Zimmer on our sensational seasonal stage.  Kim will answer questions and share behind-the-scenes stories about her days on Guiding Light the longest running drama in television history, where she originated the
role of Reva Shayne.  Kim’s new book I’m Just Sayin’ will be available for purchase and signing.

All proceeds raised from the Home for the Holidays event will go to support the JLMC, an all-volunteer nonprofit
organization, which prepares its members to serve as leaders and catalysts for change through extensive volunteer and leadership training.  The JLMC’s current community focus is on empowering women in crisis to learn the basic life skills they need to be independent. The JLMC is comprised of approximately 300 women, living in both Monmouth and Ocean counties, who give over 20,000 hours of volunteer service each year. Membership is open to any woman, age 21 or over, with an interest and commitment to voluntarism.
