Young Patients at Monmouth Medical Center To Receive a Special Gift

Second annual Toy Run to benefit Children's Hospital

The holiday season will be coming early for patients of Monmouth Medical Center Children's Hospital on Saturday, Nov. 19.

More than 150 riders from the Jersey Shore Harley Owners Group and the Long Branch Police Department will travel from the Atlantic Highlands Marina to Monmouth Medical Center on Saturday to donate toys.

The bikers, joined by Santa and Mrs. Claus, will travel on Ocean Avenue to the hospital, which is located at 300 Second Ave., Long Branch. They are expected to arrive between 10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m., and will parade through the hospital's main entryway.

A few hundred gifts are expected to be delivered to the inpatient pediatrics unit of The Children’s Hospital at Monmouth Medical Center for distribution to patients during the holiday season.
