Remembering the Blizzard of 2010 in Long Branch

A collection of photos from last year's blizzard.

What a difference a year makes. This time last December, most city residents could look outside and see nothing but a white blanket of snow over their yards, cars and streets.

The day after Christmas in 2010 will forever be remembered for the large snowstorm that walloped the Jersey Shore. Long Branch and West Long Branch were certainly not spared as those dared to venture outside were stuck in their cars or were forced to seek shelter.

Main roads such as Wall Street and Bath Avenue were treacherous and side streets remained unplowed for days, despite the long DPW's best efforts.
