Monmouth Medical Names Several Locals to Board of Trustees

Trustees include a Long Branch and West Long Branch residents

Monmouth Medical Center's Board of Trustees grew this week when several locals were appointed.

James G. Aaron, Esq., of West Long Branch, is a partner in the law firm of Ansell Zaro Grimm & Aaron. He is a founder and member of Monmouth Community Bank/Central Jersey Bank, a member of the Board of Trustees for Hollywood Golf Club and Axelrod Performing Arts Center and a former member of the Board of Trustees for Temple Beth Miriam. 

John Brockriede, of Long Branch, is returning to the board after a one-year hiatus. He is currently the president and managingpartner of Monmouth Enterprises in Long Branch.  Brockriede has received numerous special honors for his dedication to community service including: The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Grassroots Award,  Monmouth University’s Maurice Pollak Distinguished Community Service Award and The Long Branch Chamber of Commerce Libutti Award for Community Service.

In addition, Brockriede serves as director of the Central Jersey Bank Board of Directors and director of the Monmouth Family Health Center. He is a board member of the Visiting Nurse Association and Long Branch Sewer Authority. Brockriede was also President of Deal Country Club.

Anthony P. Terracciano, of Sea Girt, was named chairman of the Board of Trustees. Terracciano has served on Monmouth Medical Center’s Board of Trustees since 2002. Since 2008,Terracciano has held the position of Chairman of Sallie Mae, Inc.  He served as President of First Union Corp. from 1995 until 1997. He was the CEO, President, and Chairman at First Fidelity Bank Corporation from 1990 until 1996.

Bruce Kramer, CPA, of Millburn, is a partner with J.H. Cohn and a member of the firm’s Medical Industry Practice. He has more than 30 years experience in accounting and taxation. Kramer is vice president of the board of the New Jersey Medical Group Management Association and Chairman of the 2010 and 2011 New Jersey Practice Management Annual Conference. He is also a member of the Executive Committee of the Greater Monmouth Chamber of Commerce.

Robert Herrmann, of Rumson, is Chairman of the Board, CEO and President of Discovery Company.  With an expertise in strategic planning, board facilitation, shareholder relationships, team leadership, new business development and marketing, Herrmann previously held the position of president and CEO of Loring Ward International, Ltd.

Gerald Marrone, of Red Bank, is the immediate past chair of the Monmouth Medical Center Foundation Board. Marrone most recently served as Chief Administrative Officer for Quest Diagnostics before retiring in 2004. During his tenure at Quest, he was named one of the top CIO’s in America by Computer World in 2001. Earlier in his career, Marrone served as a Vice President for Citibank, N.A. and Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Memorial Sloan Kettering.
