Long Branch Road Closure, Traffic Pattern Change
Hendrickson Avenue will become a 2-way street.

A Long Branch road will be closed today due to utility work and a traffic pattern on another road will be changed.
A post on the Long Branch Police Department Facebook page states that Verizon will be doing work in the area of Florence Avenue and Avenel Boulevard from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Police are asking drivers to avoid the area.
Hendrickson Avenue is in the process of being converted from a 1-way street to a 2-way street.
"The new pattern will allow vehicles to travel east and west between Seventh Avenue & Lippincott Avenue," the Long Branch Police Facebook page states.
The change is expected to be completed on Wednesday, Dec. 18.
