Eatontown Readying For Labor Day Race

The race will begin at the Eatontown Sheraton at 8:45 a.m.

Eatontown residents can celebrate the end of the summer by participating in the borough's 19th annual Labor Day Race.

The race will be run on Sept. 2 at the Sheraton Hotel on the corner of Route 35 and Industrial Way East in Eatontown.

Race day registration will be held from 7 a.m. to 8:15 a.m.

The 5K Fitness Walk starts at 8:45 a.m., the One Mile Run starts at 9 a.m. and the 5K Run starts at 9:15 a.m.

The three races will be followed by an awards ceremony and raffle at the hotel.

A custom short sleeve race T-shirt, and 5K glass will be given to all pre-registered participants and race day registrants while supplies last. All registered participants will also receive a raffle ticket for prize drawing.

Those who wish to sign up early can download a registration form at www.eatontownrecreation.com or can stop in the office at 47 Broad Street.
