Eatontown Cleanup Day Rescheduled

Rain causes event to be rescheduled to April 29

Sunday's rain has caused the Pride in Eatontown Committee to reschedule its annual Eatontown Cleanup Day.

The event was supposed to be held yesterday, but the constant downpour washed it out and it will now be held on Sunday, April 29 at 1 p.m.

Volunteers will meet at the Eatontown Fire House at 47 Broad St. to receive bags, gloves, tools from the Eatontown Department of Public Works. They will then be assigned an area of the borough and will be bussed there to start the cleanup of this past winter's accumulation of litter.

Eatontown Police will provide safety while volunteers work in their area.
