Delicious Seafood To Be Served Up At Annual Rotary Clambake

Clambake will be this Thursday at 5 p.m.

One of the meals that makes people think of summer on the Jersey Shore is a clambake filled with fresh seafood, good friends and beautiful weather. 

Long Branch Rotary will hold its annual Clambake on Thursday, Aug. 11 at 5 p.m. at the Long Branch Ice Boat & Yacht Club located at Renwick Place off Patton Avenue.

The event will be held rain or shine and tickets are limited to the first 120 tickets and the cost is as follows:

$65.00 clambake with lobster

$50.00 clambake without lobster

$15 for children ages 12 and under

Tickets can be purchased in advance by calling Chairman Roger Hansen at (732) 539-8200 or by emailing him at: hansenra@optonline.net.

The seemingly endless menu consists of a salad bar, hamburgers and hot dogs, veggie burgers, fried chicken, potato salad and cole slaw, corn-on-the-cob, tri-colored cheese tortellini with a variety of sauces, sausage & peppers, steamers, clams on the halfshell, 1 ¼-pound lobsters, watermelon and a wide variety of desserts all catered by Tuzzio’s Italian Cuisine.

There will also be musical entertainment provided by Johnny Petillo and Danger Zone as well as a silent auction and games for all ages.
