B-I-N-G-O! Tinton Falls Library Makes Reading Fun

Kids from Kindergarten through third grade can play Book Bingo at the Tinton Falls library each month for a chance to take home gently-used books.

Nine local children gathered at the on Monday night to play Book Bingo. Each child received a sheet with covers of picture books printed on it and marks them off as the titles are called.  Everybody wins and can choose a book from a box of gently used children’s books. Second time winners can choose a sticker.

“I love this . It’s not too chaotic and I get to know the kids a bit better,” said the library's youth coordinator Jane Cleveland. “And it promotes reading with the kids.”

Book Bingo is held once a month and registration is required as space is limited. The next Book Bingo will be “Libro Bingo” and held on Aug. 8 featuring bilingual books. Call (732) 542-3110 for more details.
