Alzheimer's Prevention Program Held at Seabrook

Dr. Gary Small hosted talk on Jan. 15

On Jan. 15, 2013,  Dr. Gary Small, Professor of Psychiatry and Aging and Director of the UCLA Longevity Center at UCLA, visited Seabrook to provide a free one-hour presentation The Alzheimer's Prevention Program: Keep Your Brain Healthy for the Rest of Your Life. Dr. Small has just released a book with the same title.

Erickson Living, developer and manager of Seabrook is a leader in supporting seniors’ physical, as well as cognitive health and wellness. The company has had a longstanding relationship with Dr. Small, including supporting his UCLA-based Memory Fitness research.

 Erickson Living’s Memory Support Program includes a Memory Fitness component, licensed by the UCLA Longevity Center, as well as Memory Health for people with mild to moderate cognitive impairment and Memory Care for individuals in the later stages that need the added support of Continuing Care services.
