On Tuesday we asked Long Branch-Eatontown Patch Facebook readers to comment on "It's a new year, and a chance for improvements. What changes do you want to see in town?"

Here is what they said:

  • How about the town and county cut waste and lower our property taxes.
  • Fix downtown Long Branch.
  • Bulldoze lower Broadway. Repaving of streets.
  • Create some moderate public transportation to Monmouth Mall. Perhaps, Asbury Park.
  • Lower taxes.
