Verismo Opera Keeps the Arts AFFORDABLE

Introducing children and families to the wonders of grand opera is the goal of the New Jersey Association of Verismo Opera’s (Verismo Opera) initiative to keep the arts accessible and affordable.

“Verismo Opera understands that these are still difficult economic times for families, seniors and others in the community.  We want to make opera performances and productions accessible and affordable for families and their children through our discount ticket initiative program,” said Lucine Amara, Artistic Director.

Special discount ticket offers are available on specific dates in September and October for the performance of the company’s double bill of Giacomo Puccini’s Suor Angelica and Pietro Mascagni’s Cavalleria Rusticana.  Verismo Opera will present the double bill live with a full cast and orchestra on Sunday, October 20 at 3:00 p.m. at the Bergen Performing Arts Center (bergenPAC) located at 30 North Van Brunt Street in Englewood.
