President’s ‘Call to Service Award’ recipients have been announced

President’s ‘Call to Service Award’ recipients have been announced recognizing Tinton Falls residents George McBride, incoming Tinton Falls EMS South Captain and Assistant Cub Master of Pack 124 Tinton Falls, Cary Costa outgoing Tinton Falls EMS South President and member of both Wayside Fire Company and Tinton Falls EMS South along with Gary du Bois outgoing Tinton Falls EMS South Captain of two years  and current Scoutmaster of Troop 124 Tinton Falls with the highest recognition available under this National program.

The President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation was established in 2003 to recognize the valuable contributions volunteers are making in our communities and encourage more people to serve. The Council created the President’s Volunteer Service Award program as a way to thank and honor Americans who, by their demonstrated commitment and example, inspire others to engage in volunteer service.  Available levels of the Awards program are Bronze, Silver, Gold and ‘President’s Call to Service Award’.

Congratulation George, Cary and Gary in earning the “President’s Call To Service Award” recognizing your life-time efforts in making a difference by volunteering.
