Portrait Health Centers are multi-specialty clinics that employ the most cutting-edge and proven assessment protocols and treatment options available believing that an Effective Treatment Depends on an Accurate Diagnosis.

Lisa was born and raised at the shore. She has seven years of experience working in special education grades 1-12 with students who struggle with academic, social and behavioral disorders, learning disorders, emotional disorders, and other commonly diagnosed DSM mental disorders.

Throughout Lisa’s career, she has helped people of all ages with behavioral issues, anger management, ADHD coaching, disorder education, coping skills, children with big challenges and changes, parenting skills, family systems, adjustment disorders, depression, grief, loss, divorce, maladaptive eating behaviors and more.

In addition to traditional methods, Lisa uses creative interventions; art, books, picture prompting, caricatures, game therapy, colors, and sand play to engage clients and encourage an open dialogue. She has seen firsthand the ways art can empower individuals; building confidence they have yet to discover. Lisa suggests that the more one shares, the more likely unresolved issues will surface, become identified and get resolved.

Lisa believes that by helping clients develop communication skills as well as identify obstacles and feelings, she can work with each client to develop an ‘easy-to-follow’ treatment plan so progress can be made and goals can be achieved.
