Kessler Rehabilitation Center to present a FREE Seminar on “Smart Writing”

Kessler Rehabilitation Center will host a free presentation on “Smart Writing” for parents of school-aged children on Wednesday, February 26, from 7:00-8:00 p.m. at the Ocean Township Library, 701 Deal Road, Ocean Township, N.J.

The seminar will focus on handwriting development and mechanics, skills that are often overlooked in today’s high-tech world -- where children are more likely to master their Smartphone keypad before they learn proper penmanship. Kessler licensed occupational therapists will identify common areas of handwriting difficulty, provide tips and tricks for parents that can be used with children at home, and offer recommendations for skilled occupational therapy as needed.

Kessler Rehabilitation Center provides physical therapy services for individuals with orthopedic injuries and musculoskeletal conditions, sports and work-related injuries, arthritis and balance disorders at this location. Kessler accepts most insurance plans, including Medicare, and offers flexible scheduling, including early morning and evening appointments.

The seminar is open to adults only and reservations are requested. For more information or to reserve your seat, please contact Kessler Rehabilitation Center at 732.531.5092. Follow Kessler on Twitter at  @kesslerpt.
