Eatontown Mayor Gerald J. Tarantolo, Robin Hood Relief Fund, Others to be Honored by the Affordable Housing Alliance on September 19

Affordable Housing Alliance to Honor Robin Hood Relief Fund, Asbury Park Press/Gannett Foundation, Eatontown Mayor Gerald J. Tarantolo, New Jersey Community Capital, and Ralph Lengle – JLL on September 19

Started in 1991, the Affordable Housing Alliance is celebrating twenty-two years of service to the community at its annual Recognition Awards Luncheon on September 19. The event will be held at the Shadowbrook in Shrewsbury from 11:30 a.m.to 2:30 p.m. and the community is welcome to attend.

“This year especially, we are honored to be recognizing an exception group of individuals and organizations who have done so much to help the recovery process following Superstorm Sandy,” says Donna Blaze, CEO of the Affordable Housing Alliance.

The honorees include the Robin Hood Relief Fund, which awarded the Affordable Housing Alliance a one million dollar grant to create post-Sandy housing for families in need; the Asbury Park Press/Gannett Foundations, which provided funding and awareness of services available from the Affordable Housing Alliance; and Eatontown Mayor Gerald J. Tarantolo, a long-time partner of the Affordable Housing Alliance.

Additional honorees include New Jersey Community Capital, a non-profit organization which provides innovative funding and technical assistance to support housing and sustainable community development, and Ralph Lengle, a long-time vendor of the Affordable Housing Alliance.
