Circle BMW is Currently Accepting Holiday Food Donations for The FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties

WHAT:           They are accepting donations of nonperishable food items during November and December to support The FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties

 

WHEN:          November 2013 through December 31, 2013

 

WHERE:        Circle BMW, 500 Route 36 East, Eatontown, N.J. 07724

DETAILS:     Circle BMW is once again proud to support The FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties by being a drop-off site during the 2013 holiday season.

                    The FoodBank serves more than 260 pantries, soup kitchens and other feeding programs throughout Monmouth and Ocean Counties, distributing  almost seven million pounds of food annually. The FoodBank also operates a Culinary Training Program for people in need of better-paid jobs, a Kids Café and Backpack program for children, a Mobile Pantry, and Food Stamp Outreach Program. With the help of roughly 1,000 volunteers each year, the FoodBank’s programs are truly a community effort, working to eliminate hunger by providing emergency food, skills training, outreach programs and advocacy for families in need.

 

                        Donations of non-perishable food items will be collected and delivered to the FoodBank between now and the end of the year. Donations may be dropped off at Circle BMW between 7:30 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on Friday and 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.

 

Circle BMW is currently accepting the following non-perishable items for the FoodBank:

Stuffing and Gravy

Ready-to-eat Canned Meals

Canned Sweet Potatoes or Yams

Canned Vegetables

Canned Fruits

Cranberry Sauce (Jellied)

Tuna

Peanut Butter & Jelly

Instant Potatoes

Pasta/Rice

Macaroni & Cheese

Canned Juices & Sip-size Juices

Canned and Dry Soup
