Asbury Park Youth Summer Big Band (one-day jazz workshop)

The local chapter (#399) of the American Federation of Musicians and the Asbury Park Musical Heritage Foundation are co-sponsoring an all-day jazz/big band workshop for music students ages 14 through 18. Students will work throughout the day with local professional musicians, and a free concert will take place at 7:30 PM to showcase the students' talents and accomplishments.  This all-day event will be held at the Salvation Army Building, 605 Asbury Avenue, Asbury Park, NJ.

This event will take place on Saturday, July 27, 2013.  The cost per student is only $5.00, which includes breakfast and lunch. Dress is casual and the facilities are completely air-conditioned.
