Long Branch's beach replenishment project should finally be starting this week.
Congressman Frank Pallone is expected to make an announcement about the project on Tuesday afternoon in Pier Village.
We'll have a full story following the press conference later today.
The Long Branch Council is also meeting on Tuesday night at 6 p.m.
A developer will present plans to build new condominium units on Ocean Terrace in the city's beachfront north redevelopment zone.
