DESCRIPTION:Obesity is a growing health risk which impairs both the lives
  of those affected and increases health care costs for everyone. Municip
 alities are addressing this problem by promoting wellness activities for
  community members. With the ultimate goal being to improve community he
 alth\, the Mayors Wellness Campaign is a program utilized by municipalit
 ies throughout New Jersey. The rapid increase in rates of disease linked
  to sedentary lifestyles (ie. obesity\, diabetes\, heart disease) has pr
 ompted municipalities throughout New Jersey to work toward improving wel
 lness.\n&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&
 nbsp\;&nbsp\;\n&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&
 nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; You may be asking yourself how this compares to the
  programs the Recreation Department already offers. In order to comply w
 ith the Mayors Wellness Campaign\, we must develop programs in four area
 s &ndash\; &ldquo\;Youth in Motion\,&rdquo\; &ldquo\;Seniors in Motion\,
 &rdquo\; &ldquo\;Employees in Motion\,&rdquo\; and &ldquo\;Communities i
 n Motion.&rdquo\; Our strategies in developing programs for the MWC requ
 ire we cover physical\, mental\, and nutritional health.\n&nbsp\;\n&nbsp
 \;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;
  We need your help! The Recreation &amp\; Community Services Department 
 would like to invite you to our official &ldquo\;Kick Off&rdquo\; meetin
 g for Eatontown&rsquo\;s participation in the Mayor&rsquo\;s Wellness Ca
 mpaign. Our meeting will be on February 26th from 12pm-1pm at the Eatont
 own Community Center (72 Broad St.). We have extended this invitation to
  many community leaders\, as well the many local organizations and clubs
  in Eatontown. With the support of our Mayor\, Council\, Borough Adminis
 tration\, and Board of Education we believe we are on the right track to
  &ldquo\;Achieving Wellness.&rdquo\;\n&nbsp\;\n&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbs
 p\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Jump on board and j
 oin us in the beginning stages as we plan programs and events to promote
