The Tinton Falls Little League is announcing its registration for the 2012 spring season. Players who are aged between 7 and 16 may sign up. The TFLL will have teams in the following divisions: Rookies, Minors, Majors, Juniors and Seniors. The players age as of 4/30/12 determines which division they will play in. An evaluation date will be announced for Minor League players. It is not a tryout, it is to ensure competitive teams. Also please note that there are changes on Little League bat restrictions for the spring 2012 season. For more information on bat restrictions, go to www.littleleague.org.
TFLL signups will be held:
Saturday 1/7/12 from 9 AM to noon at Tinton Falls Borough Hall
Wednesday 1/11/12 from 6 to 8 PM at the Wayside Firehouse
Saturday 1/21/12 from 9 AM to noon at Tinton Falls Borough Hall

More About Tinton Falls Municipal Center
Although the borough didn't officially become Tinton Falls until 1975, the area once known as New Shrewsbury and Shrewsbury Township has a rich history dating back to the 17th century. The very modern municipal complex off Tinton Avenue houses the police department, municipal court and numerous borough departments such as planning and zoning boards, recreation, emergency management and the tax collector. Follow the main drive all the way to the back of the complex to find the borough's Department of Public Works and recycling center.
