Pair Indicted For Stealing From Long Branch Jewelry Store

Man also charged with receiving stolen property

 

 

A Long Branch woman has been indicted for  shoplifting from a Long Branch jewelry store.

Amy Mauer, 30, of Hoey Street was charged with shoplifting jewels from Shelly's Jewels on Brighton Avenue on Sept. 13.

Brandan Chamberlain, 32, whose address is the same as Mauer's according to court documents, was also charged with receiving stolen property from Mauer.

Chamberlain allegedly received over $500 in jewelry, "knowing that it has been stolen or believing that it had probably been stolen," according to court documents.
