Talerico, Kroposky Are Winners in Eatontown Council Election
Democrats win two council seats
Incumbent Democratic Councilman Anthony Talerico and running mate Janice Kroposky have won two seats on the Eatontown Council, according to preliminary results in Monmouth County.
The votes in nine voting districts in Eatontown have been tallied and Kroposky and Councilman Talerico have defeated incumbent Republican Councilman Kevin Gonzalez and his running mate Edmund Fitterer.
Talerico received the most votes with 2,682 and Kroposky received 2,543. Gonzalez garnered 1,865 votes and Fitterer got 1,701 votes. These totals do not include mail-in votes.
Incumbents Carl Lawson, Peter Siino and Robert English appear to have won three seats on the Eatontown Board of Education with all nine districts' votes tallied. Challenger Albert Baginsky received 1,547 votes on Tuesday night. Mail in votes have not been tallied for the Eatontown Board of Education race.
