Ronald McDonald House Hosting Polar Bear Plunge

Plunge will be held in Sea Bright

 

 

The Junior Board of the Ronald McDonald House (RMH) of Long Branch will host the Second Annual Polar Bear Plunge on Saturday, Feb. 11 at the Sea Bright Public Municipal Beach.

The beach is located behind the Sea Bright Firehouse on Ocean Avenue.

Registration for the plunge will be held at Sea Bright Pizza at 1066 Ocean Ave., at 10:30am. The registration fee is $30 and pledges will be accepted.

The plunge itself begins at 1 p.m. on the beach.

After the plunge, participants will be invited back to Sea Bright Pizza to warm up and enjoy some refreshments. Commemorative T-shirts and bracelets will also be sold.

The members of the RMH Junior Board include Rumson-Fair Haven High School students Ben Sherman, Emily Hays, Kevin Alter, Glen Wise, Brigid Shutsky, Schulyer DeBree, Nicky Armstrong, Artie Tildesle, Mike Moralle, Tori Huttner, Amy Littleson, Alec Burke, and Dayna Morelli, and Jamie Gunther, from Manalapan Englishtown Middle School.
