Community is recovering
Few have talked about Ocean Grove, with its ornate lamps and Victorian homes, and whether the community survived in ways that other historic Jersey Shore beaches did not.
For the most part, it did. Many houses appear to be structural sound. Other parts of the community, however, did not fare so well.
Like so many beach communities, the first - and worst - victim was the boardwalk.

Don't know how much things have improved since the pics were taken (and being positive that there has been work done) but keeping God's Square Mile in prayer. Hope to be back this summer...would even be willing to work on restoration project if needed. Peace be with you all.
