Pier Village's Christmas tree has been delivered and is now waiting to be lighted this weekend.

A tree lighting ceremony is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 25 at 4 p.m. in Pier Village's Festival Plaza.

The entire community will be on hand in Festival Plaza to welcome the Christmas season and get people in the holiday spirit.

Santa Claus will make an appearance and some of his favorite treats including hot chocolate and cookies will keep the crowd warm. Tim McLoone and the Shirleys will provide the musical entertainment for evening.
