Fourth Bomb Threat at Consumer Centre in West Long Branch
Police responding to reports of a bomb threat to the Buy Buy Baby store.
Days after an Eatontown man was charged in connection with bomb threats called into a West Long Branch shopping center, police are responding to reports of another threat.
The Buy Buy Baby store in the Consumer Centre received a bomb threat on Friday afternoon, an emergency responder confirmed.
On Tuesday, Kristopher L. Thomas, 21, was arrested and charged with issuing threats to three stores in the retail shopping mall on Sunday, Feb. 17 and Monday, Feb. 18.
Another threat at the Buy Buy Baby store on Sunday, Feb. 10 remains under investigation, according to a press release issued by the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office.

The police may have arrested the wrong man, since the bomb threat calls are still being made. or more than one person is making the calls. Copy Cat callers?????

Some remedial academic may be misinterpreting the stores name, maybe he thinks it says “Bye bye baby” On the serious side, each time some psycho engages in this type of behavior it is very costly for the shops and the community. Law enforcement agencies that are already scaled down because of the recession must now use their limited manpower for false alarms while they are needed for authentic police matters.
